Writings

Along with composition and teaching, I also have been developing a career as a writer on music. I have thus far written two books about popular music (see below), and a webtext on Rock History called Heard it on the Radio (published through Top Hat. See a preview here). I also write occasional program notes for performing ensembles and essays for various periodicals, one of which is listed below.
